A Night in Tortuga was quite the P-arrgh-ty!
Mercy Foundation's A Night in Tortuga Gala set sail on Saturday, September 30th from Merced College's IAC Ampitheater. 650 guests, including our 83 generous sponsors, donned their best pirate-wear and joined our crew for a swashbucklin' event to remember!
Guests enjoyed an extravagant evening of fantastic grub - provided by Uncle Buck's Blaze-n-BBQ Catering, barrels of grog, and a bounty of revelry - including photo ops with exotic parrots, a pirate pyro-juggler, and even a 35' pirate ship! Carousing pirates and a three-piece pirate band roved the event singing sea shanties and entertaining guests throughout the night. Following dinner and the formal program, The Marie Wilson Band had guests walking the plank to the dance floor all night.
The Foundation Board sincerely thanks all of our sponsors, vendor team, and volunteers who helped make this Gala a huge success! With your help, we were able to raise over $350,000 for Surgical Services at Mercy Medical Center, moving us closer to our goal of bringing a da Vinci Robotic Surgical System to Merced! Give your selves a big hand!
