Let's Fight Cancer Together

Let's Fight Cancer Together, a non-profit organization, was created by Teresa and Lynn Stinson with the goal of raising awareness and funds for cancer in our community.   LFCT held their third annual dinner-dance and silent auction where, along with support of the business community, they were able to generously donate $14,000 to the Mercy/UC Davis Cancer Center, which will benefit the existing transportation program for cancer patients and help begin the new smoking cessation program.   

Teresa Stinson, a nurse herself, comments, "The response from our community was huge, and we wanted to really invest back into the community in a meaningful way.  The facilities at the Cancer Center are phenomenal and the nurse in me loved to see the doctors so involved."
