Delivering Advanced Stroke and Neurological Care at Mercy Medical Center
Mercy Medical Center is proud to be recognized as a Primary Stroke Center, earning a Certificate of Distinction and the Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission. This prestigious designation is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional, evidence-based care for stroke patients.
Supporting the Stroke Neuro Program the Mercy Foundation has been instrumental in enhancing our Stroke Program through philanthropic support. Most notably, the Foundation funded the purchase of a state-of-the-art Remote Presence (RP7) Medical Robot, also known as "Dr. Bot", following a successful gala event in 2011.
This advanced telemedicine technology enables our team to provide remote, real-time consultations and care for stroke patients, even when specialists are not physically present. This technology has been crucial in improving outcomes and saving lives.
The Foundation also provides ongoing support to the Stroke Program through employee giving and other fundraising initiatives. These funds help us acquire the latest equipment, implement innovative treatments, and deliver comprehensive, specialized services for our stroke and neurology patients.
With the continued support of the Mercy Foundation, we will be able to invest in new technologies, expand our stroke services, and elevate the level of neurological care available in our community.
Join us in this mission by contributing to the Mercy Foundation. Your support will help ensure that every stroke and neurology patient in Merced County has access to world-class treatment and the best possible outcomes.
